I'm new (obviously) and I'm not very good at B3/IW atm. Honestly, I've known about all the canceling and stuff for a while, but I couldn't find that many people to play so I didn't really look into it much.

Err... right now, My mains are 17, Super 17, Cooler, and Yamcha.

I think thats about it, I don't really have much to say, I'm more of a lurker xD.

Welcome to the community and hope u find it fun here. I'm in the same boat has you when it comes to canceling but i learned just to learn and to improve my skills of the game. Also its quite fun to learn.

Lol, thank you. Hopefully learning stuff in other games will help me out with all this canceling here, lol. My goal is to learn the basics in about 6 weeks so when I go back to CA, I can play one of my friends there and hopefully stand a chance xD

6 weeks sounds good for basics, you going to practice everyday? You should look up the char sections here. Also watch videos on youtube and practice. That's what i did, worked for me. Good luck.

Lol way ahead of you there. This is like my 10th game I've done this for, so it's pretty much knowing what to look for (which I sorta got down) and muscle memory. I'm getting some of Yamcha's combos, just messing up with 17. Havent looked much at Cooler yet though.

Might practice everyday, but chances are, probably not.

Welcome man, Yamcha has a pretty cool infinite it's a bitch though I practiced a lot and still can't master it.

lol I'll say. I'm having trouble with it too. Reminds me of when I was trying to learn ROM in MvC2

Nice dude Ive been wanting to play that forever. I own 98um and 11. 11 is probly my fav out of all of them its got a great system. Of course most of the old ones are on my computer but its just not the same.

I think a got all but 99-2001, Neowave, and 2003. 11 is really good and one of my faves, but I've been more into 2k2UM/NeoGeo Coliseum. I just moved away from all the people I used to play, so it'll be a long while till I can play anyone else, let alone them be good at it, lol. I even got that crappy 3D one that no one liked, lol

lol maximum impact. I have NG Coliseum too that game is sweet never played neowave tho but I heard it was crap. Ever play any of the Fatal Fury games? Real Bout FF special Dominated Mind for the PS1 is one of the best and the 3d one isnt that bad really.

only one I have is MOTW so that the only one I'm decent in. The others I played a bit in, but not enough, lol

RealBoutFFSDM is like the next step of that game and it takes out the line system so it can run on the PS. A good move if u ask me since I dont really like the line system anyway. Let me know if u want a link to it.

Ha, of course. The line system was iffy to me, most battles I've seen stuck to one line anyway. If you ask me, I think a FF game is long overdue. Woulda liked to see that in HD or something.

Matter of fact, I hope they get more illustrators than just Nona to draw sprites for 13.

Yeah most do stay on the starting line but if they dont it gets kinda weird. Anyway they could totally make a MOTW2 and even add in a couple old chars and put in a bunch of new ones. As far as more illustrators go that would be great. It would also take less time to make probly.

Lol either earlier release, or more time to make adustments to the system and stuff. If they do make MOTW2, I'm really hoping Kain and Freeman will be there. Those are my faves

Freeman was awesome. I mostly play Iori in KOF so his style was kinda similar. Actually alot like Mature as well.
