So I decided to try and give Future Trunks another try (and to finish up my guide which has been yet to be completed) and after more than a year I STILL can't get his PPPP- or <PPP- to work in a combo. I looked through the old DBC for Trunks strats and found this amazing combo posted by gogeta which to this day I can't do.

PPPP-, <PPP-, vE [SSJ], HS, <KKK~, P+K, >PPPP-, PPPP-, PPPP-, PPPP-, vE [SSJ2], PPP<E [Shining Sword]

Can anyone give me any tips for this, or at the very least, how much damage this does against Syn Shenron?

Hmm never tried Future Trunks as of yet.I guess I could give it a whirl and see how it works out.

hmm maybe ill give it a try. I seem to remember being able to combo from <PPP- but well see.

I swear the learning curve on Future Trunks is ridiculous, especially when compared to how his present time line Kid counterpart plays.

Sorry I havn't got around to trying yet I just got Fallout 3 and its pretty damn addicting. As soon as I'm able to pry myself away Ill check it out lol.

Has anyone gotten PPPP-, < PPP-, vE [SSJ], HS to work? If I could at
least get the damage off of that one string that would be all I need.
I can do without the PPPP- loop from a juggle since the quick canceling
off of a single PPPP is bad enough as it is.

I should be able to do this and its pissing me off that I cant. I can do GTV's P+K-,PPPP in normal matches but not Trunks' stuff. Dashitall lol.

Wow I never expected Trunk's cancels to be harder than GT Vegeta's, I always thought he had the highest learning curve in the game. I do have to admit that I feel better that Trunk's cancels are that hard, it doesn't feel that discouraging to see combo videos for Trunks I can't imitate anymore.

Someone should program a controller or something like that and find out what he can really do. I wonder if he has more cancels no one has though of.

I could get that combo after a few tries but it is hard to do. It seems as though trunks doesent have alot of combo's, or easy to find ones at leeast.

Trunks isn't a combo-heavy dude. Any good punishment combo with him should end in >PPP, Shining Slash (fully charged). It deals massive stun and around 2 bars from the back. The nullification frames on his P+K are nice too.
