Control Settings

I've always wondered with all these DBZ IW players out there. What control scheme do you use.

I personally use default, though I've heard rumours about using shoulder buttons for canceling. Which I may try out later on.

Its more than a rumor Its pretty a generally accepted fact..Generally everyone leaves the face buttons alone but the shoulder buttons can be mixed around real good depending on what your trying to do

Charge Dash and a Guard are all you really need with P+K usually set to one of them so those moves can be accessed quicker.I personally set my cancel button fro R1 but I know other people that have set them to L1 even R2

Interesting, I'll have to try that, though from the way I imagine I think it would be a slower transition from the face button to a shoulder button to cancel wouldn't it?

Natural hand position makes it easier.Usually you hit the face buttons with your thumbs then your pointer fingers are free to hit the shoulder buttons

I said what I use when we were talkin yesterday but ill put it here officially.

X is G
O is K
Triangle is P
Square is E
R1 is P+K
R2 is charge/pursuit attack
L1 is Aura Dash
L2 is a secondary block for canceling

I dont ever use burst mode or whatever its called so I left it out.

My logic tells me that all the attack stuff should be on the right while movement and canceling should be on the left. Lol I dunno. The real issue is being able to cancel, and holding down triangle and pressing X at the same time then pressing something else is just not natural for one thumb to do IMO.

For me

X = Aura Dash
0 = Blast
Triangle = Kick
Square = Punch
R1 = Guard
R2 = Pursuit attacks
L1 = P+K
L2 = Charge

wow i dont think i could get used to that. altho i have tried putting aura dash on x but it threw me off.

Wow some of these are quite interesting, I'll take them into mind when I make my control scheme. But for now I think it would be easiest for me to just make L2 guard, since I don't use aura rush anyways.

For me is:

X = burst mode
O = Blast
Triangle = Kick
Square = Punch
R1 = Guard
R2 = P+K
L1 = Charge
L2 = Aura Dash

I changed Charge to L2 and set L1 to guard. To me this made it easier to do the grabs/aura guarding. The rest I left default.

^ I use the exact same layout, with R1 as P+K and R2 as Aura Dash.
