Are you purchasing HD Collection?
Re: Are you purchasing Budokai HD Collection?
Pre-ordered both the PS3 and 360 versions of the HD collection.

I'm actually gonna try this on my stick too. Always wondered how Budokai would feel on stick as opposed to pad, would make cancelling interesting if anything else.

If you played SSF4 C. Viper on stick, it shouldn't feel much more different than that.

While I would like to be able to play B3 on projection TVs without game ruuining input lag I
A] dont have a next gen system
B] Would feel like its such a step-down form Infinite World

You should really look around on the net for any second hand systems, you can get used ones for probably $100. And while it is a step down from Infinite World supporting the collection will help us in the long run as supporting it may bring about a new HD DBZ game from Dimps with some decent online capability. We could even see a Infinite World 2.TrollCapAmerica wrote:While I would like to be able to play B3 on projection TVs without game ruuining input lag I

The Jak & Daxter HD collection sold really well and its been floating around that Naughty Dogs are doing a reboot of the franchise from a more grittier angle. So we should hope that this HD collection brings about a new game for us, or at least a HD Infinite World.

I played it once at one of the gatherings my hometown has. It's interesting, but I was sorely out of practice and I've never gotten used to some of the glitch cancel windows Budokai 3 had.AquaTeamV3 wrote:THTB wrote:Budokai on next gen = I can play it with my TE.

Yeah, I'm getting it for sure.
All that means is that when it sells well, we'll get SBAR and IW with online.

HD Collection is fun, but it's kind of a shame that B3 is missing the movelist from the GH version. Everything else from the GH version is in, but no combo list. :/
Also, playing B3 again makes me really appreciate how much better of a game IW is. B3 feels so limited and slow compared to what you can do in IW, in terms of both movement and combos. Making the transition from B3 to IW was easy, but the reverse...not so much.

So I was a little hesitant at first, but I decided to try out B3 on my stick. I thought it would be a lot harder, but within the first few minutes I was cancelling like normal. I'd go as far as to say that fast cancels are MUCH easier on stick; the inputs just feel more precise. I'd be tempted to make a permanent switch if IW wasn't on PS2.

It's not hard at all, honestly. The Budokai games are actually well designed for stick. Cancelling is much easier, too.AquaTeamV3 wrote:THTB wrote:Budokai on next gen = I can play it with my TE.

Infinite World is a lot more playable on stick than you'd think.

UltiGuard might feel weird, as will doing D+P.

Knowing Namco Bandai, it would've turned out pretty killer, tbh.
Would've been nice if they removed the need to hunt for Dragon Balls to get the Breakthrough capsules with the ability to get a system capsule that replaces Normal characters with Breakthrough.
Honestly, looking back on B3, I think some of us are selling it too short. IW's additions are fun, but the issues always, always irked me.

Re: Are you purchasing Budokai HD Collection?
werent you the one who said b3 wasnt as good as IW? lol
Re: Are you purchasing Budokai HD Collection?
I thought about it a little more. I'm not getting it because I already got the Greatest Hits version. I couldn't care less about the small graphics change. BL's HD looks way better.
Re: Are you purchasing Budokai HD Collection?
That was back then lol. I don't think the same way as I did then.MysticFog wrote:werent you the one who said b3 wasnt as good as IW? lol
