THE STAR WARS PREQUELS SUCK

Take The Godfather for example. In that movie you see Michael Corleone grow as a character from a good, pure person to a personal of questionable moral values and we all know what he does at the end of the movie. You see that transition in the movie and by the end when you realise where he started from as a character, you suddenly realise how good the character arc was.

In the Star Wars prequels for the entire movie of AoTC, Anakin is a whiny brat who disobeys Kenobi and they are shown numerous times not getting along and bickering. Then RoTS starts and bang, they are best friends forever and jovial and respectful towards each other. WHERE WAS THE DEVELOPMENT? Lucas doesn't show development anymore, sure he used to, look to the OT for that, but not anymore. He wants the audience to fill in the gaps and accept what he is showing them. That is poor storytelling.

Watching the perquals is like getting diarrhea shot into your eyes and ears. Also now i want to watch the Godfather.
