Balanced Piccolo[Please Read]

I think we can all agree that SBAR Piccolo is the Sagat of DBZ Games. This is
mainly because of his SSS starter. So I have this idea, let's forget about his
SSS starter, and a few other things, in other words, an attempt at a BALANCED
PICCOLO. I'll need your personal opinions and input to further balance him tho.
Pros
+Has some sick juggles
+Can play a creative game of zoning and rushdown

Cons
-No SSS starter
-Reduced Damage, his strongest combo is situational and still falls short in
terms of damage
-Special Beam Cannon is weak for an ultimate
-Restrained Kami Transformaion, this makes his strongest combo bad to use as
anything else then a finishing attack.

To Play Balanced Piccolo, you need to follow a few rules:

1.SSS is banned completely from being used

2.>S is banned

3.You cannot fight with Kami Piccolo, however, if you transform into him in the
MIDDLE of a combo, you can end it with Hellzone Grenade. Whether or not
you are able to do this, you may not use his deathmoves or ultimate afterward.

4.Regeneration can only be used when you are down your last health bar.

5.Maou Shot cannot be used in combos exept after >RRRS-, and only if thats the
only thing you've used in the combo.

With all these things in mind, you should be able to play a close range brawler
Piccolo, while still being able to zone with Maou Shot and neutral R.

Without SSS, Piccolo, IMO, is amazingly average in comparison to Regular
Piccolo. Without Kami Piccolo or your SSS starter, your damage is lower and
your stuck at 3 baseline Ki. You'll need to be creative with your combos,
and luckily \/SE- is in your arsenal, it's great for juggles and will be your
main source of Damage. You can chain it at least 10 or more times if your fast
enough. It is by no means an infinite though, and messing up will mean eating a
combo, because the opponent can breakfall instantly.

As for zoning, Maou Shot has the range of your starter, but costs 1 ki bar and
in this case is non comboable, so its balanced.[no pun intended] It's animation
is a tell tale sign of it's activation, so to get around this, Aura Burst it
to conceal your attack, and hopefully, they will get guard broken. At mid range,
Piccolo still has pretty large jabbing range with RRRR, although the only thing you
can combo it into is Destructive Wave. Any mid range starter or rushdown will
shut this down, so don't be predictable.

Rushdown...well, Piccolo's Rushdown was inherantly good because of SSS, but as
is the case with Balanced Piccolo, he not so good with that anymore. All I can
say with Rushdown is to use >RRRS-...his throw can also be used to pressure a
blocking opponent, it does decent Damage, and helps gain some distance to charge
ki and zone.

All in all, you'll want to play a varied game of rushdown and zoning, this will
keep your opponent guessing and should give you the edge you need to land a
combo.

Ironically enough, that picture does accurately describe both Sagat and Piccolo despite them being on two different levels of broken ass press x to roflstomp.

Did I miss something? What happened in May? If this is Ad hoc Party related I STILL can't get on since my PS3 has a wireless connection.

Alright so basically you just connect an ethernet cable from your ps3 to your laptop and basically theres this option that allows you to do a shared connection.

If you have Windows xp, Just right click your wireless connection. Select properties, Click the Advanced tab. Then you see the Internet sharing options, check them both and then you are all set.

Interesting, I'll cut an ethernet cable tomorrow and download Ad Hoc Party to try this out. I can't believe that after all this time I can still find a dedicated community for SBAR.

If this works (without lag hopefully), we'll definitely have to have some matches. I'm on the west coast so hopefully you aren't to far off of Pacific time gogeta.

Damn, apparently I can't enable internet connection sharing. Says that the LAN connection is already being configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing
