To those of you interested, this is the tier list, exept it really isn't. This one is really old, and needs to be updated, but nobody's really stood up to talk about it much after Nnamz first one, so it's time to do just that...

This is probably subject to change with the discovery of the uncomboable backdash problem and Soris discovery of the ability of some characters to counter it

Really!? Things are still being discovered for this game? If that's the case, who can get around it, and how far would they move up?

Hell yeah man. I live this game and breathe it lol. SBAR is my specialty along with Gogeta on the boards. You could check out my posts here to see what I've found lol. I'm also working on an advanced tutorial for this game. I'm going to be covering a good amount of things from Kara Burst Canceling to Aura Dash uses and other stuff.

Anyway, the list...To be honest, I don't think there should even be a tier list for this game yet because of the fact that no one has fought eachother enough to have enough info to base upon.

Also, Gogeta should be bumped up to the next tier grade because of his uses with ki canceling and the fact that he actually is good if you know how to use him. Really fast rush attacks and you could parry well with his forward slam.

The tier list looks like a modified version of Nnamz' list and that's quite old. A lot has changed with the discovery of the uses of ki canceling etc etc and other stuff.

Does that means you guys will be making another tier list, and If you are still discovering things, does that means there's hope for Goku yet?

Well Piccolo is broken that will never change, I love Piccolo in Burst Limit he's similar in SBAR.

lmao piccolo sure is broken. Anyway, there will only be a tier list if we get more people fighting eachother because we can't just give the pros and cons of characters if no one even used them against humans enough. Who knows, Goku could be beast tier lmao.

As for Goku, he's actually pretty good with ki canceling since he could cancel early in his ki animation. His dragon fist is also very good priority wise if you use it as an approach and cancel it. He's still pretty shit though lol.

Damn man, I've mained Goku in every game, but for this, I have to settle for Vegetto.[Who I assume is better than Gogeta right?]

It's hard to tell. Gogeta is certainly faster but has overall less priority...lmao I haven't played this game in months to remember. Since you're here, I'll get back to it as it seems people still have interest lol.

Oh btw, I brought in a new member, and told him I'd set up an SBAR match with you, play him when you get the chance will ya? I'd do it myself, but I don't have my psp atm. and also, why did everyone drop this game all of a sudden? There's so much depth to be found in ki canceling. It makes previously thought to be crap characters good. Gogeta for example, I thought he was horrible until you pointed out his melee speed, and ki canceling in general.

I didn't necessarily drop it and Gogeta still plays it. We've found a lot of stuff, but, I'll show a shit load more in my vid so don't worry.

Yeah guys, this is nnamz list, that's why I posted it here, to discuss the characters and such, not so that you could accuse each other of not playing it anymore.

Lol, but still, I made this topic to discuss the tiers and how they have potentially changed, but no one's even said anything,even if it's just an impression or something character specific, feel free to say it. Like Gogeta's RRRR being good as a combo starter becuase it's so fast, you know?

SBAR is shit cause of the backdash problem(which sori claims there is way to get around it but did he ever clarify? No.), it's on the psp, P and K>>>>>>>>R and S, No super shiny ultimates and DR like in B3(Why else am I playing a DBZ game lol), it's on the psp.

And that is why Videl is the best character in SBAR.

B3 is shit cause of the neutral p spam(which there no is way to get around.), it's on the ps2, R and S>>>>>>>>P and K, Ultimates that slow down the gamplay, Heat Phalanx infinites[If I want my ass kicked I'd ask], it's on the ps2.
And that is why Videl is the best character in B3..

You can get your ass kicked just like that in SBAR as well, if you watch good players playing Budokai 3 there's no overly long combos on one side, for exemple watch Gogeta vs. Victoriano.

IW is the best Budokai game fuck all the rest.
